- Community Development Foundation
The CDF is a public agency and registered charity sponsored by the Department for Communities and Local Government. Its mandate is to lead on developing strategy and analysis as well as administering grants, with a common aim to 'enable people to influence decisons that affect their lives.' This CDF uses partnership and associate working approaches to encourage more integrated community engagement and cohesion.
- Community Sector Coalition
The Community Sector Coalition is an independent consortium of twenty national charities which aim to pool learning and resources in order to campaign on behalf of the community sector with a louder voice. The Coalition seeks to represent a wide section of the sector in order to improve services and decision making processes and facilitate shared learning. The reach of the Coalition extends to Tenants' and Residents' Associations and the housing sector generally.
- Compact
Home pages for the National Compact, the formal agreement of shared guidelines and commitments between the government and the Third Sector. The Compact was established in 1998 and is now led by the Office of the Third Sector. A review of the Compact began in 2008, and in 2009 a broad sweeping consultation known as Compact Refresh has been launched.

Compact Voice is an independent cross-boundaries organisation which was set up with the aim of implementing the National Compact across the Third Sector. The board, made up of a representative section of voluntary and non profit organisations, together with a team of staff which comprise Compact Voice, are working together across the industry to make the Compact work for those who should be benefiting from it.
