This is the independent watchdog which audits around £200 billion spent by 11,000 local public bodies and agencies.  The organisation exists to ensure economy and efficiency across many areas of local government and services, including housing.

Beacon Community Regeneration Partnership has spearheaded a social enterprise based in the Penwerris ward of Falmouth in Cornwall.  It has been instrumental in the ongoing transformation of one of the UK's poorest areas and has integrated many previously hard to reach groups.

The Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) is the professional body for people working in the fields of housing and communities.  It is a registered charity and not-for-profit organisation.  The Institute has a growing membership of over 22,000 people in both the public and private sectors.

The CDF is a public agency and registered charity sponsored by the Department for Communities and Local Government.  Its mandate is to lead on developing strategy and analysis as well as administering grants, with a common aim to 'enable people to influence decisons that affect their lives.'  This CDF uses partnership and associate working approaches to encourage more integrated community engagement and cohesion. 

The Community Sector Coalition is an independent consortium of twenty national charities which aim to pool learning and resources in order to campaign on behalf of the community sector with a louder voice.  The Coalition seeks to represent a wide section of the sector in order to improve services and decision making processes and facilitate shared learning.  The reach of the Coalition extends to Tenants' and Residents' Associations and the housing sector generally.

Compact Voice is an independent cross-boundaries organisation which was set up with the aim of implementing the National Compact across the Third Sector.  The board, made up of a representative section of voluntary and non profit organisations, together with a team of staff which comprise Compact Voice, are working together across the industry to make the Compact work for those who should be benefiting from it.
