Croydon | Resident inspectors are keeping check on our housing services
Last year residents worked with us to develop the annual report to tenants,which sets out how well the council is delivering housing services and its plans for the future.
To make sure that we keep our promises and provide tenants with services that meet their needs, we have trained some resident volunteers to become resident inspectors to check and monitor our servi
Developing Scrutiny and co-regulation at Reading
Over the last 12 months we have been working with a group of tenants and staff to consider and respond to the requirements of the TSA including assessing how we measure against the national standards,
We have also been working with the tenant group to look at our response to co-regulation and the development of a new tenant scrutiny panel.
Derby Homes Scrutiny Panel progress
We have just finished our interview process and have now appointed five panel members.
We now have a structure in place and we are chomping at the bit to get started with our panel by April, although we have a training package to implement first.
Scrutiny Panel Developments at Poole Housing Partnership
Here at PHP we have been busy developing our new scrutiny panel; we are calling it the Service Improvement Review Board (SIRB).
SIRB will sit independently of the Board and all other service specific resident panels operating, this will ensure that the residents on board have no conflicts of interest.
