Welcome to the North West section of the RIC website
Bolton at Home is a three star organisation and was awarded Beacon Status by the Government for 'Improving Housing Services by Involving Tenants' in 2006 along with three other Beacon Authorities.
Following the successful sharing of good practice during our Beacon year and the continued demand the four Beacon Authorities applied for and were successful in funding from the then 'Housing Corporation' Innovation and Good Practice and Tenant Empowerment Programmes to carry out a Peer Support Programme. They were subsequently awarded further funding by the IDeA and CLG to carry out additional peer support work and to develop the Regional and Champions Network.
Bolton at Home are the North West Regional Resident Involvement Champions and they work closely woth Bolton Metropolitan Borough Council and BATRA to deliver appropiate peer to peer support across the region in both operational and strategic housing to improve service delivery by involving service users.
