SIRB will sit independently of the Board and all other service specific resident panels operating, this will ensure that the residents on board have no conflicts of interest. SIRB will set their own programmes of work based on performance reports reviewed at meetings and any referrals received from the Board and other service specific resident panels.

Once reviewed, the reports will go to the board to agree the recommendations and for managers to implement.
